When making this portfolio I not only coded it myself, but also made an illustration. This is made for graduating in 2021. By making this illustration I have tried to give a personal touch that strengthens the personal factor in my portfolio.
I was able to align a reference photo via Illustrator. By adding different layers I was able to give the illustration a lot more detail.
In collaboration with skateboarder John I got to make an illustration. Client John has a muscle disease named Myasthenia Gravis. Despite that he practices his passion for skateboarding regularly. To spread this strength he makes his passion his own brand. In order to support this passion, I was able to help through a graphic design.
I was able to visualize this illustration by an photo in action. By tracing and drawing this illustration came to life.
Practice makes art, they say. This was absolutely the case with this portret. This was one of my first portret attempts. With this design I could bring out her best features in the details. With portrets like these you can give somebody a smile and surprise them with your creation.
